The youth transportation card allows for a 20% discount on single tickets (in metropolitan areas, this discount is added to the existing 30% general card discount), leading to a total discount of 50% that could reach up to 100% for young individuals from especially large families.
This benefit is applied through a 25% bonus on top-ups and is directed at all individuals residing in Andalusia who are under 30 years of age. This card is for personal use and is non-transferable, which is why it has the user's photo, name, and ID/NIE number printed on it. In the case of a young person from a large family, the card that should be issued is the Large Family card, onto which the double bonus will be applied during top-up: one for the youth and one for the large family, accumulating over the previous ones.
Required Documentation
To obtain the youth transportation card, it is necessary to fill out the form and submit it along with the following documentation:
- ID or NIE. The card will be sent to the address on the ID/NIE unless otherwise indicated in the next point.
- Certificate of registration, if the address on the ID/NIE is different from the current one, as long as you reside in Andalusia. The youth card will be sent to this address once stamped.
- Recent passport-sized color photo:
- PHOTO FORMAT .JPG
- MAXIMUM FILE SIZE (300 KB)
- THE PHOTO MODEL CANNOT BE EXTRACTED FROM A GROUP PHOTO, NOR BE FULL BODY. THE PERSON'S IMAGE MUST BE PROPERLY FRAMED, USING THE NATIONAL ID/NIE OR DRIVING LICENSE PHOTO AS A REFERENCE. Any application whose photos do not strictly comply with the above will be rejected by the system due to format reasons. This will mean that it has to be processed again from the beginning with a photo that meets the requested requirements, causing a delay and inconvenience for the user in processing their Youth Transportation Card.
- Email or mobile phone for notification of card shipment/collection.
- If you also hold the Large Family Consortium card, you must provide a copy of that card.
- In the case of minors, the application must be signed by the father/mother or guardian, accompanied by a photocopy of the signer's ID.
Online Application
It's the preferred application method. You can apply for your card comfortably without having to visit our offices using the online form. Remember that you will need to attach the requested documentation, so it's advisable to scan it before you start filling out the form.

Once you have received the card at your home or at the Consortium's headquarters, it will not yet be operational. To activate it, you will need to go to any Consortium sales point where you applied for your card (check the Consortium's website/app for available sales points). There, you will need to activate and top up the card with the desired amount (above the minimum balance set at €5), with €1.5 being deducted for management fees. Once the card is activated, it can be recharged at any sales point in the Andalusia Transport Consortium Network, regardless of where it was applied for. In cases of malfunction, breakage, or loss, the same conditions will apply as for the Consortium's general use transport card.

Loss or theft
In the event of a loss of the Youth Transport Card, the balance on the card will not be transferred to a new card to prevent fraud, as this can be consumed until it is depleted. The balance will only be transferred in the case of theft, provided that the new application is accompanied by a police report stating the card was stolen due to reasons not attributable to the cardholder.
