In accordance with Article 4.1, e) of the bylaws of the Metropolitan Transportation Consortium of the Seville area, one of its functions is to establish the Geographical Framework Tariff System for the provision of services within its territorial scope.
In line with the above, number 2 of the mentioned Article 4 in its subsection a) indicates that the Consortium may, among other actions, establish the necessary mechanisms to carry out the tariff integration of regular public transportation services for people in its scope, as well as the equitable operation of the Geographical Framework Tariff System and the adopted tariffs.
Under the protection of the aforementioned article, the Executive Committee of the Transportation Consortium has been defining the tariff framework for metropolitan services based on agreements adopted in the sessions held on March 8, 2002, June 28, 2005, November 21, 2008, and March 30, 2009.
The tariff framework aims to promote the use of public transportation and increase the level of integration of the metropolitan space, facilitating intermodality for citizens through the use of a single transportation ticket common to all operators.
Territorial Scope
The territorial scope of the Consortium extends to 45 municipalities: Albaida del Aljarafe, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Alcalá del Río, Almensilla, Benacazón, Aznalcázar, Aznalcóllar, Brenes, Bollullos de la Mitación, Bormujos, Camas, Carmona, Carrión de los Céspedes, Castilleja de la Cuesta, Castilleja de Guzmán, Castillaje del Campo, Coria del Río, Dos Hermanas, Espartinas, Gelves, Gerena, Guillena, Gines, Huévar del Aljarafe, Isla Mayor, La Algaba, La Rinconada, Los Palacios y Villafranca, Mairena del Alcor, Mairena del Aljarafe, Olivares, Palomares del Río, Pilas, Puebla del Río, San Juan de Aznalfarache, Salteras, Sanlucar la Mayor, Santiponce, Sevilla, Tomares, Umbrete, Valencina de la Concepción, Villamanrique de la Condesa, Villanueva del Ariscal, and Viso del Alcor.

The area of Seville is structured into 6 zones (A, B, C, D, E, and F). Zone A corresponds to the municipality of Seville.

Transport Tickets
The valid tickets for the metropolitan public bus system are:
- Single ticket for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 y 5 jumps: Valid for one stage on the metropolitan bus.
- Transport Card: Based on contactless chip technology, it is a wallet card configurable by jumps (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5).
Along with these transport passes, the Andalucía 65 Card coexists with its own management and tariff system.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 7.1 of the Order of October 25, 1990 regarding control documents in relation to passenger transport and its auxiliary and complementary activities, children under four years of age who do not occupy a seat do not need a ticket.
